Mark Hamill has a storied history playing The Joker, and is easily the most prolific voice actor for the character to date, beginning with 1993's Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, and reprising the part in numerous video games, animated films and TV shows before finally retiring his rendition in late 2011. His final significant turn as the character was in 2011's Batman: Arkham City, a production image from which can be seen above. It's clear to see here that Hamill loves to give a physical performance while voicing the character (he was apparently the only voice actor on The Animated Series who would stand up and walk around while recording his lines), and in his eyes and facial expressions, it's clear that he can inhabit the essence of The Joker like no other voice actor.
