9 Major Marvel Movie Events That Could Follow Avengers: Infinity War

Whatever the post-Infinity War Marvel Cinematic Universe is planning to bring us instead of Phase 4, it will need to keep things fresh, and adapting a story like Original Sin would be a good way to ensure the movie series remains, um, original.

We already know that mysteries are a good fit for the MCU - Captain America: The Winter Solider was edge-of-your-seat stuff - and bringing this 2014 crossover event to the big screen presents to opportunity to spin one on a larger scale.

The story finds the Avengers launching an investigation into the death of Uatu the Watcher, a mission which ends up spanning Earth and the wider cosmos.

It's a different-flavoured adventure to the likes of Infinity War, and one that could be pulled off providing they do some groundwork establishing Uatu as an MCU player.

Although Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 introduced the Watchers during one of Stan Lee's best ever cameos, their origin would have to be fast-tracked early in an Original Sin movie so the rest of the runtime could focus on the mystery.
