9 Movie Bloopers You Didn’t Spot In The Final Cut

1. The Near Miss With A Taxi - Midnight Cowboy

Calvin Candie Django Unchained
United Artists

By far the most famous line in Midnight Cowboy comes when Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voigt almost end up beneath the wheels of a taxi on a New York street. "I'm walking here," yells Hoffman's Ratso Rizzo, and an endlessly quotable catchphrase was born.

That catchphrase was entirely the result of a blooper, because there was no near-collision with a taxi in the script, thoigh you'd never know it. The driver almost hit the actors during a location shoot and prompted a genuine reaction from Hoffman.

Voigt looks on in surprise, but his co-star thought on his feet and turned the gaffe into scene that would become arguably more famous than the movie itself.
