9 Needlessly Provocative Scenes Designed Only To Disgust You

1. SuperVixens (1975) - Super Stomp

SuperVixens is a jolly little sex romp from the pen of Russ Meyer, fast paced and hilarious. There is however, one sequence which is so nasty, so vile and so gosh darn gratuitous that it deserves a place on this list. SuperAngel is a complete bitch who is married to the wimpy Clint who works in a petrol station. She is extremely highly sexed and bad tempered - expecting Clint to down tools and satisfy her, and she throws mega tantrums if he doesn't comply. She is on the blower to Clint and he has to set the handset down. A very well endowed woman hears SuperAngel squawking on the handset, picks it up and utters the immortal lines: "Can't wait to strap on your groovy old man!". This sends SuperAngel into a rage and she seeks out the attentions of Harry, the local cop. They go to bed, but although Harry has a SuperSchlong he can't get it up. This irritates the hell out of SuperAngel who sees it as an insult against her "beautiful body" and she emasculates Harry with her words of scorn. This seems to excite Harry who begins to thump the crap out of SuperAngel, sending her into hiding in the bathroom. In the bathroom she shouts "Get out you freak! i'll call the cops!", to which Harry says "You have all the police you ever gonna need gal! Now you better open this goddamn door or I'm gonna bust it down!". Harry is not a very good buster of doors so SuperAngel, being the utter cow that she is, starts taunting him again. Doing a sexy dance to some groovy 70s music on the radio. Harry is enraged and manages to finally bust the door down. This is where we get into needlessly provocative territory. Harry grabs SuperAngel, decks her several times in the face. Throws her into the bath and STOMPS on her in a very heavy manner. The bath turns red with blood. SuperAngel, somehow alive in this whole affray sits up in the bath completely bloodied. Harry's kind response is to chuck an electric radio into the bath and watch her convulse and die. I cannot express how needlessly provocative and disgusting the above scene is. It fits in very uncomfortably with the rest of the film which is a farcical sex caper. I had viewed the film back in 1995 on SKY Movies and I was disgusted by it. A censored version had been broadcast but I did not know this until I got my paws on a French SuperVixens release. The violence of this scene was amplified 100% in the uncensored version and it totally freaked me out in its nastiness. Should you want to experience the ultimate in provocation and disgusting, check out SuperVixens.

My first film watched was Carrie aged 2 on my dad's knee. Educated at The University of St Andrews and Trinity College Dublin. Fan of Arthouse, Exploitation, Horror, Euro Trash, Giallo, New French Extremism. Weaned at the bosom of a Russ Meyer starlet. The bleaker, artier or sleazier the better!
