9 Ridiculous Movies With Multiple Plot Twists
3. Wild Things
Whilst most remember it for being absolutely packed to the brim with scandalous sex scenes, Wild Things also has plenty of plot going on around the edges - perhaps too much plot, some might say, since every new scene seems to introduce another way the movie has been pulling the wool over our eyes for the 10 minutes prior.
Essentially, students Kelly and Suzie are pit in a court case against high school guidance counsellor Sam, who they accuse of raping them. It then comes to light that they are lying due to personal aggrievances with Sam, and he then gets a settlement for millions of dollars from Kelly's wealthy family. Only, whilst you'd assume otherwise, the girls are particularly happy about this since they're in on the whole scheme and plan on splitting the money. And this is all only in the exposition of the movie.
The rest follows the three protagonists and detective Ray who suspects that the court case wasn't as cut and dry as it appeared on the surface, with people getting killed, double crossing, and coming back to life before the end credits roll.
If you ever think you know what's going on in this movie on your first watch through, you're wrong. No, really.
