9 Ways Avengers: Infinity War Will Be Different From The Comics

9. There'll Be Two Infinity Gauntlets

When Thanos appeared in the mid-credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron, he took an Infinity Gauntlet from a vault and declared that he would collect the Infinity Stones himself. Note the use of the word "an", not "the" Infinity Gauntlet, as it was clearly a different one to the one seen in Odin's trophy room - it was a left-handed gauntlet, as opposed to the right-handed version in Asgard. This made viewers curious - are there two Infinity Gauntlets in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Well, according to Marvel Studios' head honcho Kevin Feige, there are indeed two of them. This, of course, will make Avengers: Infinity War different to the Infinity War comic book arc. There is only one Infinity Gauntlet in the 616 universe and the only time there has ever been more than one on-panel is when the different versions from alternate universes came together - and, given that Infinity Gems only work in their own universe in the comic, there's really no use in having more than one at a time. Will there be a battle that sees two different Marvel Cinematic Universe characters each wielding three Infinity Stones in their respective gauntlet? We'll have to wait and see.
