9 Ways Avengers: Infinity War Will Be Different From The Comics

6. There'll Be No Cosmic Entities

The Infinity War comic book arc is very much set in the cosmic world of Marvel - a world that really hasn't been explored in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet. Sure, the franchise has expanded into the cosmos, but the crazy-powered cosmic entities and gods from the comics haven't yet been introduced - and they really shouldn't be. Such characters have no place in the movies - they would just end up making everything too silly - and you can definitely expect them to be absent from both Avengers: Infinity War offerings. At most, the Living Tribunal may turn up at the end to declare that the Infinity Gauntlet has been destroyed or rendered permanently useless, but he certainly won't be a major character throughout the movies, as having him interact with the likes of Tony Stark and company would just be silly - and there definitely won't be an abundance of cosmic entities (like Eternity, Infinity and Galactus) involved - although there may be a reference to Lady Death, as Thanos is famously in love with her.
