Die Hard 5, or "A Good Day to Die Hard" as it is properly titled, hit cinemas last Thursday, leaving men everywhere with a conundrum - to take the girlfriend/significant other out for Valentine's Day, or go see Bruce Willis blow stuff up? It was a difficult decision to make, given the circumstances. However, if you chose the latter, you may now be regretting your decision, and the cold shoulder your partner is giving you at present is nothing compared to the bitter feeling of disappointment coursing through you after watching a relatively pitiful Die Hard outing. Unlike most of the other films in the franchise, A Good Day to Die Hard was completely panned by critics. Based on 150 reviews collected by Rotten Tomatoes, the film received a 17% approval rating, making it - by far - the most poorly received Die Hard film in the series so far. Yet there are plans for a sequel, with Bruce Willis going on record prior to the fifth outing that he wants to "retire" the John McClane character
