The EVIL Video Game

In the film Brainscan, Edward Furlong learns that it€™s all fun and games until someone commits brutal murder. He€™s your average traumatized teenage recluse who unwittingly plays a video game haunted by an evil-ish presents that turns his fantasy animated killing into real life bloody killing. In terms of exploring video games as new territory ripe for haunting, the fear simply isn€™t installed correctly. It€™s another case of terrorizing new technologies before they€™ve had time to settle. In addition to this, the Freddy-like jokester villain doesn€™t leave you much to be fearful of. He has a great design and charisma to boot, but not the menace of Freddy.

I have a keen, almost obsessive fascination with the macabre. It has lead me from a quiet life growing up in a small town to where I am now; creating horrific works about horrific things in many different mediums including films, short stories and essays. I live life by a simple motto: learn to like the dark, cause eventually, it'll come for all of us (lightening flashes and thunder claps)... but it ain't so bad.
