A Scanner Darkly was one of the movies I missed out on seeing at the cinema this year but with the quick turn around of DVDS at the moment, it won't be to long until I can see it.
JoBlo have got the heads up on the artwork and specs for the release which will hit stores December 19th in the States and probably slightly later in the UK. Here is the info...
Includes: Commentary by Keanu Reeves, writer/director Richard Linklater, producer Tommy Pallotta, author Jonathan Lethem and Philip K. Dicks daughter Isa Dick Hackett One Summer in Austin: The Story of Filming A Scanner Darkly The Weight of the Line: Animation Tales Theatrical Trailer Anamorphic Widescreen Presentation English DD5.1 Surround English, French & Spanish subtitles I must say I love the artwork on the DVD but I've heard from a lot of people that the movie was basically just style over substance and was actually pretty bad. I thought the trailer and posters looked awesome though so I'm still going to check it out for myself. Anyone on here see it? What was your opinion of the movie guys? source -
