Addicted or is it Possession trailer

Sarah Michelle Gellar should have given up on these foreign remakes a long time ago.

The Return was one Hollywood remake of a foreign horror movie too far for Sarah Michelle Gellar then I have no idea what you would call her newest movie Addicted (or Possession according to IMDB, which makes more sense actually when you see this new trailer) which is based on the 2002 Korean movie Jungdok. Actually I have got a word for it... crap. The movie sees Gellar as a woman whose life plunges into disaster when a freak car accident involving her husband and her brother-in-law leaves them both in a coma. When they both wake up sometime later claiming to now have switched memories (so her husband has her brother-in-law's memories and vice versa), our protagonist must decide whether they are telling the truth and choose which body has her husband's mind. A really long trailer has found it's way online over at Worst Previews and I have to say it's really badly pieced together. It's too long with a hopeless fade out ending which lacks any "umph", and ya know we've seen Gellar act like the victimized and innocent young woman for so many years now, it just feels like it's time to move on. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE TRAILER I would expect this movie to fly by cinema's as quietly as The Return when it opens in February. I guess, it's just one more big failure for Gellar which pushes her closer to reprising her role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and that's a good thing for us.
