After a string of flops, John Cusack signs up to THE FACTORY

The Hollywood Reporter have the scoop that Cusack will star in Dark Castle Entertaiment's psychological thriller THE FACTORY, a movie about an an obsessed cop who, with his partner, is on the trail of a serial killer prowling the streets of Buffalo, N.Y. When his teenage daughter disappears, the cop drops any professional restraint and goes all out to get the killer. Yes folks, it's yet another one of those shitty 'kidnapped daughter' flicks which Cusack has found himself drawn to once again after seemingly dodging the bullet that was the similarly themed STOPPING POWER. Moran O'Neil has co-wrote the movie and will direct the feature. He was the winner of the Australian version of PROJECT GREENLIGHT and this is scheduled to go before the camera's in January. Cusack's career suicide continues. Though at least we have SHANGHAI to look forward to, but by the time that movie is released he will have probably done four movies of absolute garbage.
