Age Of Ultron: 10 Things You Might Have Missed In The New Trailer

9. Hey, It's Andy Serkis!

But before that, look, it's Andy Serkis! The multiple award nominee is mainly known as the "godfather of motion capture," having been at the forefront of the technology, helping to bring to life CGI-created characters as diverse as Gollum, King Kong, and Casear from the recent Planet Of The Apes prequels. Here, though, we're actually seeing the guy's real face for the first time in a while. Well, maybe not a while, since he was also a human character in Peter Jackson's unnecessarily epic King Kong, and won a BAFTA for his turn as Ian Dury in a biopic a couple of years ago. Anyway, Serkis's character in Age Of Ultron is still yet to be confirmed, but this is the most we've seen of him in the Avengers sequel so far. He does not look friendly. Serkis is still only glimpsed very briefly, and illuminated for even less time before being plunged back into darkness, so you can be forgiven for perhaps not catching him on your first viewing. Or for not recognising him, since his most famous roles are as monkeys and corrupted hobbits. Anyway, there he is, scowling, beardy, and wielding a gun in some sort of research facility, it looks like.
