Alice Through The Looking Glass: 25 WTF Moments From The Trailer
3. They've (Probably) Already Given Away The Ending
As previously mentioned, at the start of the trailer we see Alice slowly venture into the mirror, unsure of exactly how it works and what will happen if she does. She's being lured in by Butterfly Absolem, and she will undoubtedly then find herself transported back to Wonderland. Just before the title card appears near the end of the trailer, we see her leaping confidently through the mirror once more. This time she's wearing what looks to be a dressing gown, not the brightly-coloured garments seen through the rest of the trailer. What are the chances she goes back and forth between Wonderland and the regular world several times in the film? Next to none. It would lose all sense of energy and interest if she frequently made the journey. What are the chances she manages to save the Hatter, wakes up in her own bed back home soon after, decides she's tired of life in 19th century England, and so dives through the mirror to permanently go back to Wonderland, thereby setting up another sequel? Near enough 100%.
Movie / TV enthusiast with a DVD and Blu-ray collection bigger than I'd care to admit. If anyone is offering creative / furniture solutions to house them, I'm all ears.
