Allen speaks on Midnight in Barcelona & full cast list
Woody Allen's 38th feature film (at least by my reckoning) Midnight in Barcelona is set to begin filming next week. At least we think it's called that, I don't think it's been officially announced as yet and neither indeed has the movie's plot so as usual there's tons of secrecy over an upcoming Woody Allen flick. Allen spoke to Variety to give us a glimpse of what he is trying to achieve with the film...

His movies are so much better these days when he isn't in them... Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Patricia Clarkson, Kevin Dunn, Chris Messina, Zak Oath, Pablo Schrieber and Carrie Preston. The rest are all local actor's. Rebecca Hall and Sílvia Sabaté who we believed were previously cast in the film, aren't mentioned. Shame, cos I quite liked Rebecca's work last year in The Prestige and Starter for Ten.
