9. Stark Industries
Tony Stark and Hank Pym were the Avengers' original brain boxes. In the comics, Scott Lang is an electronics expert, and his first job after leaving prison was in the design department of Stark Industries. So although between them Tony Stark and Bruce Banner have largely replaced Hank Pym as the team's intellectual powerhouse, there's still the potential for these characters to clash heads and attempt to out-nerd each other. If anything, the added pressure of moving from two to three geniuses on the team could lead to some impressive banter and competition. It looks as though a lot of the film's plot will deal with the fate of Pym's company, and because Stark Enterprises seems to have the world market in... well, everything, cornered, it's likely that Tony's company will at least get a mention at some stage. And if Ant-Man is to be included in the wider Marvel universe then Tony Stark is one potential way of introducing Scott Lang to the Avengers team.
