5. "Is It Too Late To Change The Name?"

The Trailer Moment: The teaser trailer didn't sell Ant-Man in the most confident manner, culminating in a joke that poked direct fun at the relative silliness of the idea; "Is it too late to change the name." Rather than smart subversion of public awareness a la Guardians Of The Galaxy, this seemed to show a lack of faith in the project; a cynic would say the line felt like it was directly lifted from Kevin Feige and Peyton Reed discussing the movie. Where Was It: Ant-Man as a film was a lot more sure of itself than the early marketing suggested, and thus it's totally unsurprising that the line is completely left out of the finished product. This comes straight after the initial Scott-Hank meeting, but would have totally altered the tone if included; Ant-Man may be a comedy but it still puts effort into building up stakes.
