Though Scott's pal Kurt (David Dastmalchian) sadly doesn't get whole lot to do in the movie, he is the butt of one of the movie's most amusing recurring gags.

When Kurt first hears about Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), he insists that the supervillain is most likely Baba Yaga, a fabled witch from Slavic folklore who either helped or hindered travellers depending on the quality of their character.

This gag comes home to roost later in the movie when Kurt gets an up-close and personal glimpse of Ghost, at which point he screams "Baba Yaga!" and starts nervously singing the song he was clearly taut (and terrified with) in childhood.
