Ant-Man and the Wasp is finally out now in UK cinemas, and like practically every comic book movie released these days, it's absolutely chock full of sneaky comic book references, crowd-pleasing pop-culture nods and slight visual gags you probably won't even notice on a first viewing.

Mounted as more of a straight-up comedy than most of the MCU's output, the Ant-Man sequel takes it upon itself to namedrop classic movies, include appropriately insect-inspired music and pay homage to its paperback origins as much as possible.

The movie may not be up there with some of the franchise's better movies, but even if you start to lose interest in the fairly middling narrative, there are a ton of sly, well-placed gags and one-liners to keep things ticking over.

Naturally fans won't find every last Easter egg until Ant-Man and the Wasp hits home video platforms, but until then, here's everything we caught from the theatrical experience...
