The movie begins with Scott Lang mere days away from completing his house arrest for partaking in the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Naturally, two years of cabin fever has caused Scott to develop some peculiar behaviours and interests in order to stave off boredom.

After seeing him playing an electronic drum kit and perfecting his basketball game, we see him ugly-crying while reading the classic weepie novel The Fault in Our Stars.

And honestly, if there's anything that'll motivate you to read the book rather than just watch the movie, it's probably being stuck in your house for two years. Above all else, though, it's a perfect reminder that Scott's more of a regular schlub than the other Avengers.
