Ant-Man And The Wasp's TWO Post-Credits Scenes Explained

Post-Credits: Ant-Man And The Wasp Will Return?

The giant ant is used by Scott Lang throughout the movie as a means of escaping house arrest, with the insect wearing his ankle monitor, and he reappears in the final sequence behind a drum kit and having an absolute blast, as was teased in the marketing for the movie.

After that's there's the text 'Ant-Man and the Wasp will return'.

What It Means

It's typical for Marvel to include a joke post-credits scene, which this absolutely is, but the weirdness of a giant ant playing drums is contrasted by the emergency broadcasts we hear, signalling that in this scene, too, the Snap has occurred and panic is taking hold. It also means that Marvel actually spoiled a post-credits scene in the trailer, without anyone noticing.

Even the line of text isn't straightforward, because it comes with a question mark at the end. Ant-Man and the Wasp will both return, of course, but Marvel wants us all to think there's a chance they won't.
