So, technically Stan Lee is playing the Watcher's Informant after the game-changing reveal in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but the Marvel icon is nevertheless credited here as "Shrunken Car Man".

Lee's quick mid-film gag is one of his more amusing recent ones, as in the middle of the climactic San Francisco chase, his car is hit with a shrinking disc, turning it tiny before his very eyes. He quickly responds with, "Well, the '60s were fun, but now I'm paying for it."

The whole moment lasts barely five seconds, but it's a well-placed beat of comic relief that playfully nods towards the free-wheeling nature of the 1960s.

Some have argued that the gag seems ill-timed given Lee's recent personal problems, but on its own terms, it's pretty damn funny.
