The first Ant-Man introduced us to the Quantum Realm, which is, as we learned, the same place where Hank Pym lost his wife - and Hope's mother - Janet van Dyne.

However, the fact that Scott Lang was able to survive the QR suggested Janet may still be alive, and we see in this trailer what looks like the mission to rescue her. We know that Janet will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer, who thankfully isn't revealed just yet, so we know that they at least find her down there. This will be a huge deal not only for the characters in this movie, but also for expanding the scope of the MCU and opening doors for another universe.
