Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania Review - 5 Ups & 5 Downs

5. Jonathan Majors Kills It As Kang
Jonathan Majors might want to book himself some physiotherapy, because the guy's back must hurt from carrying this movie so hard.
And while he certainly struggles himself to overcome the mediocre material, he at least deserves a measure of credit for doing his level-best to elevate it.
Majors brings an initially quiet menace and later fiery intensity to Kang which ensures he's by far the most entertaining part of the film, even if the MCU will need to do some major work to convince fans that he's truly a Thanos-tier antagonist.
Still, Majors is one hell of an actor for Marvel to have in their pocket moving forward, and if the writing ultimately fails to do justice to Kang, it certainly won't be for Majors' lack of trying.
