6. The Action Is Insane

The first movie is remembered primarily for its delirious action sequences, which took brilliant advantage of Ant-Man's unique power set, delivering both laughs and awe-inspiring mayhem in near-equal measure.

It looks like director Peyton Reed has outdone himself with this sequel, then, going by the sheer number of awesome action beats featured in the trailer. From Wasp's aforementioned car intro to Ghost's (Hannah John-Kamen) jaw-dropping phasing abilities, Wasp knocking a guy out with a giant salt shaker and just barely avoiding being chopped to pieces by a meat cleaver, it all looks like an ambitious step up from what came before.

It remains to be seen whether or not the movie can muster up a truly legendary moment on par with the famous Thomas the Tank Engine scene from the first film, but what we've seen so far sure is encouraging
