The new trailer also gives fans a much closer look at the film's apparently main antagonist, Ghost. Luis explains that after Hank Pym opened up the quantum realm, Ghost appeared, stole some of Pym's prized tech and now plans to take over the world with it.

The most alluring aspect of Ghost is her ability to phase through objects, which she uses in one awesome moment to pass through a moving car, appear out the other side and dropkick a passing motorcyclist.

Considering that the previous film's villain, Yellowjacket (a thoroughly wasted Corey Stoll), wasn't all that interesting, there's a lot of potential here for Ghost to be the bada** challenge to Ant-Man that he wasn't.

Sure, it's also possible she'll end up playing second fiddle to Janet van Dyne if those rumours pan out, so wait and see.
