Anthony Hopkins: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

It's true that Transformers: The Last Knight is the best Transformers movie since the original, but that's not exactly huge praise., and it's probably no more than testament to Hopkins' fading star that he was even approached for the film. And even more so that he went for it.

The film is typical Michael Bay fare, and no amount of trying to establish "clever" mythology can really save it. It's vulgar, it's idiotic and it still made money. Go figure.

Hopkins sticks out like a sore thumb, and while he doesn't disrespect the material exactly - which is quite remarkable - it's far from something he can be proud of.
