Aquaman Final Trailer Reactions: 5 Ups & 5 Downs

1. The INSANE Final Battle

Yes, the trailer has probably spoiled more than it should have, but with that in mind, doesn't the epic finale to this movie look like the most insane, bombastic slice of madness you're likely to see at the movies this Christmas?

Previous trailers had shown snippets of the epic, Lord of the Rings-esque climactic battle between Orm's shark-riding army and Nereus' sea dragon-riding army, and we also get a closer look at a gigantic, crab-like monster causing all sorts of molten chaos in the middle.

There's every possibility this finale will end up a trainwreck of incomprehensibility, but considering how well Wan literally directed traffic in the visually complex Furious 7, he just might be able to juggle these elements and deliver one of the most delightfully nutty final showdowns in any recent superhero movie.

The hope is definitely there, at least.
