Forget the dodgy CGI and the numerous other questionable things in this trailer: the absolute worst moment is a horrid instance of toe-curling cringe.

As Arthur declares, "I came to save my home and the people I love", we're treated to a horrendous slow-motion zoom in on Arthur's face as he loving stares at Mera, and of course, we then cut to Mera's immaculate face staring back, her hair blowing in the wind like it's a shampoo commercial.

Fingers crossed this awkward shot selection won't make the final movie, because it's howlingly bad.
