Aquaman Trailer Breakdown: 19 Things You Need To See

1. That Final Gag Though...

After the movie's title card is displayed, we're subjected to one final gag, where Arthur and Mera have travelled by plane to a desert-like location. Mera jumps out of the plane without even giving it a second thought, much to the horror of the pilot.

At this point, Arthur tells him, "Redheads, you gotta love 'em", and dives out after her. Two things ruin this gag: the CGI is absolutely appalling, and James Wan decides to cut to some damn billy boat as if to grab audiences and scream at them, "This is supposed to be funny! Please laugh!"

Not a great note on which to end the trailer, to say the least.
