Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sylvester Stallone Teaming Together For THE TOMB?

The Expendables co-stars may team together again for Summit Entertainment's prison break/revenge thriller.

It took decades for the two biggest action stars of the 80's to star in a motion picture together but now they've done it once they can't keep away from each other. Ain't It Cool News reports that Summit Entertainment's in development project The Tomb, once set as an Arnold Schwarzenegger thriller for his big screen comeback before last fall he left to make Last Stand and then Sylvester Stallone attached himself to lead as his replacement, could now ultimately star both actors. The Tomb tells the story of Ray Breslin, a master prison designer who is framed for a crime he didn't commit. He is imprisoned and must escape the complex and unbreakable structure he helped create to seek vengeance on who locked him up. Action helmer Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) was to direct the film at one point but currently no director is attached. The film was written by Miles Chapman (Road House 2) with a re-write by Jason Keller (Machine Gun Preacher). Stallone is still expected to play the lead as the prison designer, with Schwarzenegger eyeing another 'key' role. Both Stallone and Schwarzenegger will be seen in The Expendables sequel alongside Bruce Willis, who would you believe, was originally circling The Tomb. Maybe they can find a role for him in the movie too?
