15. Spider Gets Tortured

During Quaritch's sortie on Pandora, he takes custody of Spider and brings him aboard the RDA base, where he's subjected to a disturbing means of torture.

He's strapped to a chair and his head is placed inside a green, whirring centrifuge-like device while General Ardmore quizzes him on Jake's whereabouts.

While Spider is in incredible distress, we can see that the torture causes Spider's neural activity to spike in harmful ways, as Ardmore continues to grill him.

Evidently the procedure causes a considerable amount of physiological trauma, given that when Quaritch shuts the machine down a few moments later, Spider is bleeding from the nose. Yeah, that's probably not sanctioned by the Geneva Convention, is it?
