Avengers 2: 10 Things You Need To Know About New Characters

1. Former Villains

An important thing to note about the three new additions to the Avengers is that they all began as villains, even if they were somewhat reluctant. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and the Vision was created by Ultron solely to destroy the Avengers. That may not mean much - Hawkeye and Black Widow also began as villains and though there were some slight nods to this (we know Black Widow used to work for the KGB and Hawkeye was prepared to put an arrow in Thor€™s head), they€™ve more or less been portrayed consistently as heroes - but given the new trailer, it looks like there will be some villainous connections. In the trailer, we are shown Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch approaching Ultron and they don€™t look like they€™re about to attack him. Given the experimentation on them, perhaps Ultron convinces them that they€™re better off joining him in his fight against humanity. Since the Vision was initially based on JARVIS and Ultron€™s first form resembles Tony Stark€™s Mark-II Iron Man armor, it can be assumed that Ultron corrupts JARVIS€™ programming and uses it against Stark and the Avengers. All signs seem to point to the Avengers having to battle these three new characters before they join forces. Are you excited to see Age Of Ultron? Share your thoughts below in the comments thread.
