Adam Warlock is undoubtedly the key character (other than Thanos himself) in the Infinity Gauntlet comic book arc and it's absolutely essential that he appears when the movie portrayal is made. Warlock acts as the heroes' guide when it comes to defeating Thanos, having been newly resurrected following his previous demise. At the end of Thor: The Dark World, in the mid-credits scene when the Collector came to Asgard to pick up the Aether, a cocoon can be seen that is very similar to the one that Warlock emerges from. If, as expected, it turns out to be Warlock himself, he could emerge from it for that very same reason when Thanos gets his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Indeed, Warlock may well make an appearance in this August's Guardians of the Galaxy, but as he's not confirmed yet he still constitutes a "new" potential character. To see "Him" (his original name) conferring with Doctor Strange, Pip the Troll and, potentially, the likes of Namor, Gamora and Beta Ray Bill, over the plan of action in confronting Thanos would be very cool. He is an extremely powerful character with flight, superhuman physical attributes and incredibly high-end energy manipulation. His wisdom and physical prowess could prove to be very important in the planning and final battle against the megalomanical Mad Titan. So there you have it - thirteen new characters who should appear in the Avengers 3: Infinity Gauntlet. Do you agree?
