9. Cap Gets A New Shield & Chainmail Armour

Cap of course receives a new shield from T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) during Infinity War, but it's pretty far away from the conventional shield he used up until the end of Civil War.

If the rumours are true, then Cap will be given a new, permanent shield during Avengers 4, courtesy of none other than Tony Stark.

This is especially apt as Stark was the one to deem Cap un-worthy of the shield back in Civil War, so to gift him a new one represents a burying of the hatchet between the two. Oddly there's no word on what the new shield looks like, so perhaps this suggests it's simply a replacement for his classic one.

Other trailer leaks also point to Cap getting a new armoured suit which will resemble chainmail, and this has been backed up by several promotional art leaks which show off a new, chainmail-like reinforcement in a more typical stars-and-stripes costume.
