11. Peter Quill Finally Returns Home

The Rumour

Thanks to Letitia Wright, we know that there's going to be a meeting between Shuri and Star-Lord as she answered a question posed by ScreenGeek about working with her co-stars and confirmed they'd filmed together:

Chris Pratt was genuinely a great person. He would like give me bible scriptures out of nowhere and then do a dance and leave. He’s great. I love Chris Pratt.

Now, obviously Shuri and Star-Lord have never met, so this has inspired rampant speculation that Quill's return from the dead will also see him head back to Earth for the first time since he was kidnapped by Yondu as a child.

Response

He might not have shown much inclination to return to his family on Earth so far, but it would be fitting for Quill to head back to the "home" he was torn from, considering how much he's looked for his own identity. And his grandfather will no doubt be delighted to see him.

Also, it's far more likely he comes back to Earth rather than Shuri heading to space.
