Avengers 4 Theory: Did Thanos Time Travel At The End Of Infinity War?

All things considered, this may actually be a very good thing the for remaining Avengers in the upcoming movie. Fortunately for the team, if Thanos is hanging out in the past, that means he’s unlikely to catch wind of what the superheroes are up to as they move against him.
When your foe is nigh-omnipotent, the further from you the better when the time comes to take the fight to him.
Also, the most widely hypothesised resolution to Thanos’ actions in Infinity War is expected to involve time travel on the Avengers’ behalf. Early set photos of Avengers 4 seem to corroborate this theory. There’s also the potential ‘time travelling pager’ Nick Fury uses in the Infinity War to contact Captain Marvel to consider.
All in all, it would seem that the idea of time travel cropping up in Infinity War is not nearly so far-fetched as they may seem on the surface.
One thing we know for certain however, is that no matter where or when Thanos is for now, he’ll be back soon enough, and the Avengers’ greatest battle is yet to come.
