Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 15 Theories That Were Utter Bull

The Theory: As he has in the comics, Captain America would be deemed worthy of wielding Mjolnir in Thor's absence and would use it to bash Ultron's shiny metal head in.

The Supposed Evidence: The teaser footage that showed Cap budging the hammer slightly laid the way, and rumours that Thor might die filled in the gaps for how that movement would turn into full on wielding.

The Reality: The tease that he was almost worthy enough was misdirection (funny misdirection at that), but in reality it was Vision who picked up Thor's enchanted weapon, proving his worthiness to the team when they're suspicious he might be another murder-bot.

Would It Have Been Better? In a word no. It wasn't strictly right to deny Cap's worthiness, but using it as a device to introduce Vision as a good guy was a solid decision that got one of the biggest laughs of the whole film.
