12. Ultron Wants Lokis Sceptre From Avengers Tower...
After the Twins escape from Von Strucker's base, Stark clearly sends his security drones to take them down, thinking that they pose a significant enough threat to warrant the heavy-handed approach. That brings Ultron's earliest form into contact with them, and presumably allows him to learn that they were "created" using Loki's sceptre - something that becomes key to his desire to self-replicate. Ultron uses the Twins' disdain for Tony Stark - whose drones destroy Sokovia when they go off-brief - and the West (which they see manifested in the Avengers) as a means to learn more about them and their creation, and to use their powers to attack the Avengers' base. The Infinity Stone in the sceptre is the key to his new powers, and his return to Avengers Tower (in broken form), which was such an impressive part of the first trailer, is his play to capture the sceptre back. If that seems like empty speculation, you'd be wrong, as the newly unveiled LEGO tie-in sets have all-but confirmed that the set-piece takes place and that the sceptre plays a key part...
