7. Captain America and Agent Carter Reunite Again... Somehow

Peggy Carter may have been last seen as an old lady suffering from dementia in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but Marvel still has big plans for the retired S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. As well as starring in her own TV show next year, Agent Carter has also been confirmed to appear in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but fans are still in the dark as to how this will work exactly. A scene in the trailer reveals that Captain America and Agent Carter will reunite somehow in a WWII setting and this could happen in a number of ways. The obvious explanations revolve around flashbacks or even a dream sequence, but the more exciting possibility lies with the most unstable new addition to the Avengers team. The Scarlet Witch's powers have never been clearly defined, being described alternately as 'hexes' or 'chaos magic' in the comics. Whedon shed some light on his interpretation of the character recently, stating that alongside her telekinesis, Wanda also has the ability to get inside the heads of the team, which could somehow account for Captain America's trip to the past. This would be a novel way to bring back the character of Agent Carter that would hold more emotional resonance for Steve Rogers.
