10. The Falcon
How Would It Change The Franchise? While we do know that Anthony Mackie will be playing the Falcon in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it's not known yet if he'll appear in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It is a possibility, however, as the Falcon has been a member of the Avengers in the comics and he's currently a member on the Avengers Assemble animated series. So there is a chance Mackie will graduate to the big leagues. The question is will the Falcon survive the flick if he appears? Ultron will probably kill someone in the movie, and the Falcon isn't as recognizable a character as the others on this list. Plus with The Winter Soldier featuring the return of Bucky as a brainwashed assassin, we haven't really explored the story of Cap dealing with the death of his partner. If the Falcon dies, that could provide further character development for Cap in his own franchise, leading him to question his leadership skills or whether or not he should even be Captain America. Will It Happen?Probably slim. As said before, there's been no indication Mackie will even appear in Age of Ultron. Plus, with all the flack Marvel has gotten for its lack of diversity, they probably don't want to go with the cliché of the black guy dying first.
