7. There'll Be No Ant-Man

In the comic books, Ultron was created by Hank Pym AKA Ant-Man and even refers to the hero as "Daddy", but it has been confirmed that Ultron's origins will be completely changed for this movie. Indeed, the Ant-Man movie (which will star Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Paul Rudd as Scott Laing - another version of Ant-Man) isn't happening until after Age of Ultron and will represent the start of Marvel Cinematic Universe phase 3. At most, there will be a mid-credits or post-credits cameo from Ant-Man in Age of Ultron, which will occur long after Ultron's creation has been shown on screen. Will he be created by HYDRA? Will he be created by Tony Stark? Will he have cosmic origins? We will have to wait and see - all we know at this stage is that Ant-Man won't have created him because he isn't in the movie.
