Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 10 Key Things We Already Know

4. The Film Takes Place All Over The World...

Filming for Avengers: Age of Ultron has, so far, taken place in South Korea, South Africa, Italy and England. While that doesn't necessarily prove that the film is set in all of those places (as they could all double up for somewhere else, potentially), the sheer variation in the appearance of those places would suggest the settings will all be different. There is also the fact that a wagon with Korean text on it has been seen on set (and is reported to be a wagon belonging to a company responsible for the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of mutants) and, given that some of the movie at least will be set in the United States, that's at least two countries. We've also seen different groups of heroes filming separately, as if different Avengers are undertaking different tasks and fighting different fights all over the world. Of course, there's also the fact that the comic book arc of the same name saw Ultron attempting to terraform the entire planet and locations including Antarctica's Savage Land were included. Essentially, this film is globally set.
