5. The Satan Claw And The Death Spore Virus
Baron von Strucker is a highly intelligent and brilliant military strategist who's in perfect physical health and an expert swordsman/marksman/hand-to-hand combatant, all of which marks him out as an exceptional leader but what makes him a true Marvel character is the Satan Claw and the Death Spore virus. The Satan Claw is a metal gauntlet that can make him exponentially more powerful and also shoot electrical bolts. While originally conceived to fit over the hand, it's changed over the years to replace Strucker's entire right hand since it was lost. It's got a great look, gives the character an edge, and what says crazy bad guy better than a robot arm that could knock down Thor? In the comics at least, Strucker is also really old but remains physically fit and youthful-looking thanks to something called the Death Spore virus. It keeps him young and in good health while also giving him limited invulnerability and enabling him to survive things like gunshot wounds. Strucker can release the virus from his body and instantly kill victims with it. These two assets make Baron Von Strucker stand out as a unique villain and they're something we'd need to see in the movie character for it to really be the Baron.
