Avengers: Age Of Ultron Spoilers - 6 Plot Points Revealed

6. The Movie Will Begin Where The Captain America: The Winter Soldier Post-Credits Scene Left Off

The Avengers 2 Baron Wolfgang Von Strucker Thomas Kretschmann 1 Remember that post-credits scene from the last Captain: America movie? Marvel villain Baron von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) appeared, sparking speculation that he'd be a major antagonist in the new film. According to Latino Review the new movie will pick-up the story of the Marvel Universe right from that - with the Avengers taking on von Strucker in the opening battle sequence. With Von Strucker possessing Loki staff and Chitauri weaponry, it won't be easy for our band of heroes to vanquish this particular super-villain despite it reportedly occurring early in the film.

5. Quicksilver And The Scarlet Witch Will Reportedly Fight Alongside Von Strucker

Marvel StudiosMarvel StudiosOne other thing we found out from that Cap America post-credits sequence was that Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch would likely be appearing - as we already know cast as Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. It's also been revealed that the two characters will be fighting alongside the Baron - who in the Marvel film universe's continuity has bestowed them with their powers after experimenting on them with Loki's staff. This was a change necessitated by Fox's owning of the rights to any references to 'mutants' along with the X-Men franchise, but it seems that Marvel have utilised it to provide a great action sequence.

4. Marvel Plan To Blow-Up The Woods From Gladiator

A genuine mistake from Marvel Studios has revealed details of the new movie unwittingly - according to GetSurrey.co.uk the company submitted a written request to a local council with detailed plans on what they planned to film in Bourne Woods, Farnham when they didn't need to. This details how they plan to turn the woods, which were used in War Horse and Gladiator into a bit of a winter war zone, with a military base being constructed and to be adorned with fake snow to create wintry battle scenes. Local residents have also been warned warned about likely explosions and car chase scenes.
