Avengers: Endgame - 12 Plot Hints From The New Trailer

Last but certainly not least we get what is perhaps the film's biggest wild card; Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, herself.

While the post-credits scene of her solo film gave audiences their first glimpse of her initial meeting with the team, this new trailer shows off a bit more of how she's going to get along with everybody. As made obvious by the fact that Fury saw fit to call her via the beeper at the end of Infinity War and the entirety of her own solo film, Captain Marvel is a force to be reckoned with and certainly could mean real trouble for Thanos.

Will Captain Marvel single-handedly defeat Thanos? While there is precedent for it in the comics, almost certainly not.

She clearly shows up very early on in Endgame's runtime (even before Cap shaves his luscious beard), meaning that she doesn't just immediately solve the problem-at-hand. But with the new knowledge from her solo movie that her powers are actually a direct result of the Space Stone (the Tesseract) and the fact that she isn't shown in the group shots of everyone in the new suits, call it a safe bet that she helps lead a section of the team off into space while others go into the Quantum Realm.
