Avengers: Endgame - 13 Major Questions After The Trailer

1. Where Are Rocket, War Machine, Valkyrie, Korg & Captain Marvel?

Unsurprisingly there are a ton of missing pivotal characters in the trailer, for though we see Tony Stark, Thor, Bruce Banner, Cap and Black Widow, a number of superheroes presumed to have survived the Decimation are nowhere to be seen.

The most obvious absences are Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and War Machine (Don Cheadle), as we physically saw them survive the snap while Groot (Vin Diesel) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) turned to dust in front of them.

Elsewhere, the Russos have already confirmed that Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) survived Infinity War, and though she's not yet credited for Endgame, Thompson was in Atlanta with Chris Hemsworth during the movie's shooting period, so it's likely she shows up at some point. The Russos were more coy about confirming Korg's (Taika Waititi) fate, sadly.

And of course, there's Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), who clearly has a significant role in Endgame. Considering that Kevin Feige has already confirmed her to be the mightiest character in the MCU, she may well end up delivering the killing blow to Thanos.

Obviously Marvel Studios is going to play fairly coy with her role in the film until her solo movie has been released next March, as many fans are assuming she'll be left in some form of stasis or limbo until Nick Fury's (Samuel L. Jackson) pager call wakes her up.
