20. Hawkeye's Family Was Originally Dusted In Infinity War

Endgame begins with Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) suffering through the disintegration of his family following Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap at the end of Infinity War, and Joe Russo confirms that they originally intended to place the scene at the tail-end of Infinity War.

Ultimately the Russos viewed an early cut of Infinity War with the scene included and decided that it was "too disorientating" due to the snap montage already cutting between various distant locations.

Furthermore, showing the snap at the beginning of Endgame from yet another perspective elegantly re-iterated its devastating impact and the loss felt by everyone.
