Endgame's glorious final scene of course sees Cap reunited with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) back in the past, though many fans questioned when exactly this scene was taking place.

Well, it's a mystery no longer, as McFeely confirms it was almost immediately after Cap made his trip back in time. McFeely says, "I imagine about 10 minutes ago, he knocked on the door, and she dropped whatever she was holding."

The biggest clue, as he points out? The front door is still open, and what other reason would there be for this than Peggy being so caught off-guard by Steve's re-emergence that she forgot to close it?
