Now a simple one: what if the new footage explains what that noise was supposed to be at the end of Endgame? Speculation has suggested that it was something to do with Tony Stark and a later confirmation from within Marvel explained it as such, but that might not be the whole story.

Here's how Endgame editor Jeffrey Ford explained it:

"We knew early on that we weren't going to have any post-credit scenes in this movie. Towards the end of our mix, Kevin came in and said, 'I got an idea, and I want to try it — what if we have a little audio flashback at the end with Tony?' So we dug through the elements of 'Iron Man 1' and found the exact piece of sound from the print master. We laid it in against the logo and adjusted the rhythm slightly. We showed Kevin and he gave it his blessing. We thought this was a great send-off."

It's still strange that they used the audio of Iron Man being created to signal his end, which is why fans took to speculating about a legacy Iron Man character. And maybe that's what we're going to get here? A more concrete hint at why they went with that strange tribute.
